"You Are In FAQ's Page"

This page contains a collection of commonly asked questions, together with the answers.

Q
Do I have to have a good bike to take part?
A
No, provided that your bike is 'road worthy', has decent tread and working brakes, that is all you need.
Q
Will I need any special clothing to wear?
A
A pair of shorts or fitted track suit bottoms, a long or short sleeved fitted top and a pair of trainers is all you will need to get you started. However, we do have Team Scottish Provident Isle Of Man racing kit available at subsidised pricing.
Q
Do I have to wear a helmet?
A
Yes. Safety is very important to us at Team Scottish Provident Isle Of Man.
Q
How much will it cost to join Team Scottish Provident Isle of Man cycle racing team?
A
Nothing to join - each race meeting will cost you just a pound, and you get a nice lolly when you have finished your race!
Q
How do I join?
A
Simple - Get yourself down to the NSC on any Tuesday night and collect an application form, you fill in your bit, get your parents to sign their bit, return it to the event organiser and you will then be ready to race.
